Cancelling a Service
If you no longer need a specific service, you can easily request cancellation in the Lone Star Data Ranch Client Area. Follow the steps below to initiate a cancellation and understand your options.
Step-by-Step Guide to Cancelling a Service

Log into the Client Area
- Go to the Lone Star Data Ranch Client Area.
- Enter your email and password to log in.

Navigate to Your Services
- From the dashboard, click Services in the top navigation menu.
- Select My Services to view all active services in your account.

Choose the Service to Cancel
- Find the service you wish to cancel and click on its name to open the service details page.

Request Cancellation
- In the service details, look for the Request Cancellation button (typically located at the bottom of the page).
- Click Request Cancellation to open the cancellation options.

Choose a Cancellation Type
- You’ll have two options:
- Immediate Cancellation: The service will be terminated right away, and any unused time or fees may be forfeited.
- End of Billing Period: The service will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, allowing you to use it until the paid period expires.
- Select your preferred cancellation type, and confirm your choice.

Confirm the Cancellation Request
- Once you’ve chosen your cancellation type, click Submit to finalize your cancellation request.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email once the request is processed, and the service status will reflect the scheduled cancellation.
Important Considerations
- Refunds: Refunds for canceled services are subject to Lone Star Data Ranch’s refund policy. Generally, refunds are only offered for eligible services when requested within a certain period after purchase.
- Automatic Renewals: Ensure you submit a cancellation request before your renewal date to avoid automatic billing for the next period.
- Data Backup: If you’re canceling a hosting service, be sure to back up any important data, as it will no longer be accessible once the service is terminated.
Cancelling Domain Registrations
Domain registrations often have specific terms and are typically non-refundable. Cancelling a domain registration means it will not renew at the end of the term, but the domain will remain registered to you until the term expires.
To cancel a domain renewal:
- Go to Domains > My Domains in the Client Area.
- Select the domain you wish to stop renewing and disable the auto-renewal setting.
