Updating Payment Methods

Keeping your payment information up to date ensures uninterrupted service. Follow the steps below to add, edit, or remove payment methods in the Lone Star Data Ranch Client Area.

Step-by-Step Guide to Update Payment Methods

  1. Log into the Client Area

  2. Navigate to the Billing Section

    • Once logged in, click on Billing in the top navigation menu.
    • Select Manage Credit Card (or Payment Methods) from the dropdown, depending on the options available.
  3. Adding a New Payment Method

    • If you want to add a new payment method, click Add New Payment Method.
    • Enter the required information for your credit or debit card or link a PayPal account if available.
    • Click Save Changes to add the new payment method.
  4. Editing an Existing Payment Method

    • To update details on a saved payment method, locate the payment method and click Edit.
    • Make any necessary changes, such as updating the card number or expiration date.
    • Click Save Changes to confirm updates.
  5. Removing a Payment Method

    • If you no longer want to use a particular payment method, locate it in the list and click Delete.
    • Confirm the deletion when prompted. Note: Make sure at least one active payment method is saved to avoid service interruptions.

Setting a Default Payment Method

If you have multiple payment methods saved, you can designate one as your default for recurring payments.

  1. On the Payment Methods page, find the payment method you want to set as default.
  2. Click Set as Default next to the chosen payment method.
  3. The selected payment method will be used automatically for future invoices unless manually changed.

If you experience issues updating your payment method:

  • Confirm that all entered details are accurate.
  • Ensure that the card you are adding is active and supports online transactions.
